Laura® Soybeans and Tosteds are naturally gluten free. Even though Laura® soybeans are naturally gluten free, we use a test strip on our soybeans and Tosteds to verify that they are gluten free. This is great news for people who are intolerant to gluten. A healthy snack like Tosteds is a great alternative to other snacks containing gluten. Plus, Tosteds have half the fat, twice the fiber and 80% more protein than peanuts. Tosteds can be used the same as peanuts. Use Tosteds in gluten free cookies (when you use gluten free flour such as Cup4Cup). I like putting Tosteds on my steel cut oatmeal with cinnamon and honey, Tosteds add fiber and protein to make my breakfast complete. If you are not making soy milk or tofu with your Laura® soybeans, you can soak them overnight then boil until they tender. After boiling you can add them to soups or stews for added gluten free protein and fiber.
