Not only do Laura® Soybean make great tasting soymilk, tempeh and tofu, they also make great tasting hummus!
Here is an easy recipe to make homemade soy hummus:
Ingredient list:
1.5 cups of boiled or pressure cooked Laura® Soybeans Soak your Laura® soybeans overnight and then boil for 2 hours or if you have a pressure cooker (instant pot) for 14 minutes on high.
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/4 cup of tahini
1 small clove of garlic minced
2 tbsp of olive oil
1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin
8 Ounces of roasted red peppers (optional); drain the liquid off before adding to the processor
Using a food processor: add lemon juice and tahini and process for about 20 seconds add the olive oil, garlic and ground cumin; process for about 20 to 30 seconds now add the cooked Laura® soybeans and blend until smooth. You may have to use a rubber scraper to wipe down the sides half way through the processing. Add the optional 8 ounces of roasted red peppers and process until smooth. Enjoy!!
